The Master of Descriptions

15YEARS.
15years later she couldn’t suffice. 15years later she was still stigmatized, lived with trauma as part of her life parcel. 15 years later she would do anything to forget her past, drink and wallow in drugs to drown her pain. 15years later she wasn’t strong enough to live on her own but she was tough enough to face her fatherly demons by herself. Each night, each sleep, each dose took her back to the memories of a fateful night she long to forget. A scary night, a bizarre night. A tantalizing night that left her half dead and how she wished she had died to a better palace. She hated being vulnerable, she hated death, she hated men, she hated the rain, she hated screaming, she hated tears, for a drop of tear reminded her of the beastly thrusts she endured when she was unconscious and innocently defenseless against the one who once loved her as his daughter.
Mom was the pillar of the house; his smile would shine just by hearing her name. 15years of marriage and yet they still loved each other. And then mom fell sick and her world begun tearing apart. She grew weary till they laid her by the well, and it was well with her. She was just 8. Dad begun drinking and transformed from a loving figure to an abusive father. It’s amusing how paradise can tumble within a short time. Then one-night daddy came home drunk as he always does. He grabbed the daughter and threw her on the couch.
“your mother shouldn’t have left me! Now because of her see what I’ve turned into”
She had no idea where this was heading to, she knew that it would result to the obvious beatings that will cause her pain and bruises. But this night was ominous, one of the darkest. She had enough. Her pain was unbearable. She knew it. The world knew it. And she would scream all nights and cry silently all day but no one came to her aid. She hoped for a knight to come rescue her. She prayed for the prince in the Disney worlds to come for her rescue but nobody did. Till hope lost meaning to her. She knew what to do. She had to die.

ss
“you remind me of her, each time I see you, I think of her
Do you know how much it hurts me that I can’t have her? “
This man with egotistic character knew not about the pain of the child trapped in the corner of the couch gaping for escape. The pain of losing her mother and her loving daddy. He was getting close to her, prying on her like the devil himself. He stared at her lasciviously holding his zip, unbuttoning his trouser.
She was pleading closing her teary eyes hoping not to see what came next. She held them tight as if trying to get numb to an imaginable immense pain that she would be subjected to.
“daddy no! please daddy stop! Daddy am tired!”
“you will love it just fine child, I’ve always wanted you Rita, like I did your mother. How could I be so much in love not to realize how beautiful you are? Mother is gone. It hurts. But resorting to being drunk was the best. It has opened my eyes to see that you are a replica of your mother. How I love to taste my flesh. How I desire to make you my woman slave forever”
“daddy please! Plee….aaaa…se… I’m just a child, daddy I don’t wanna see…. Please help!!! Somebody help me!!!”
He was getting close. She closed her eyes. Her screams were being engulfed into the rhythms of rain beating on the roof. Her screams were resounding like distant echoes only unheard of. Till it faded. And nobody heard. nobody saw. 15years later she still hopes that someone will listen to her. That someone will hear her. That it would not rain again. She died once. Now alive but dying slowly. If not her then perhaps the victims left behind, those screaming for help but unheard of.
